Hello friends , I have aproblem with precipitating pt and pd from an aqua regia solution that I made from an ore near by ,
It is giving a colored indication of stannus chloride test so I didn't found any precipitation of au with sadium metabisupfite , so I tested with pt and pd precipitation . I did adding aluminium foil . So I ve got a brownish color powder precipitation ,
Can any one please guide me on this situation .

Thank you and good day
Hi give me your whatsapp or viber so we can correspondent
Seems like Iron...
But it is hard to say.
Have you assayed your ore? Is it really cost effective to leach with AR?
I would suggest comparing SnCl2 test vs. low Palladium content standard.
Noop, I bathe the ore with 35 % hcl one day and washed.. and then with hno3 . And finally aqua regia .
Zinc / magnesium would probably be better. As for the precipitate, try dryingbit, incinerate, re-dissolve and test with SnCl2.
This is for test purposes for only , needs to know what are the metals consists of , only able to seperate mica right now,
I will update with the results coming week..thanks 😊
