Has anyone been offered a questionable ( Gold ) metal for refining ? I have been approached by an acquaintance

to extract gold from a yellow alloy , supposed to be Dore' bars from E- Waste . I was shown a video of this metal being

melted prior to casting into popcorn . I was amazed at the fumes and glow emitting from the crucible it reminded

me of News Paper pictures of Iran pouring molten Uranium . Could the metal I have been offered be depleted Uranium?

I have no Idea where to find out, also I have not taken possession of any of this material.
